the idea
Four Mile Farmers Market is a local farmers market and community gathering for Four Mile Canyon and residents of the neighboring mountain communities, held monthly during the growing season.
Most of us don’t have large-scale farms, but many of us end up with too many zucchinis, or not enough fresh eggs.
So come trade, barter, or purchase from your neighbors!
FIRST EVENT: seed swap
4/26/26 at the Salina Schoolhouse, 11-1pm
the details
The Farmers Market is intended for your homegrown produce and your handmade goods - please no garage sale, MLM, or “independent distributor” type items. On-the-spot services are also welcome - for example, we’ve had folks offer chainsaw sharpening at past markets.
Trading is highly encouraged! Or come to barter, buy, sell, or give your extras away-or just mingle with your mountain neighbors.
There’s no fee to be a vendor, and you don’t have to register in advance. Just show up if you have something to offer. No commitment required.
There are a few tables available, but you’re also welcome to bring your own.
Bring small bills and change to make transactions easier.
Take all extras with you when you leave - please respect the space and don’t leave anything behind.
